Diamonds are one of the hardest minerals on Earth. Immense pressure and heat deep underground transform carbon into diamonds, which then make their way to the earth’s surface via volcanic magma flows and erosion. Diamonds are not naturally sparkling and shiny but described as “rough” with an appearance so ordinary most people would pass by without a second glance. It takes the skill of the diamond cutter to unlock the brilliance that distinguishes the diamond from a run of the mill glass pebble. Hmmm… No pressure, No cutting, No diamonds. Have you ever compared the rough times you have gone through and may be going through to the process of creating a diamond? Are you in the rough stage or are you beginning to sparkle? ( Ephesians 5:8, Romans 5:1-5, 1 Peter 1:6-7 )
