Welcome to My Hmmm Collection

I am Karin, born and raised in northeastern Pennsylvania and loving it. My experience as a daughter, sister, mother, Grammy and Aunt, a 30+year healthcare professional, a Crossroad Bible Institute Instructor, a designer/maker of Christmas ornaments, a lover of cooking but not baking, a survivor of domestic abuse, and a women who enjoys nature and loves her Creator give me a wealth of topics to ponder and write about.

Several times in my life, I tried keeping a journal/diary but became easily discouraged at missing a daily entry or two. I sometimes regret not sticking to it because you can learn a lot about a person’s character through their personal musings, and there is much more meaning if the musings are those of a family member. Not too long ago a dear friend told me of what I call her hmmm collection, entries of statements, quotes, clichés and personal revelations that make her say “hmmm”. These hmmm moments I believe are God inspired and bring with them the responsibility to ask…

• Am I willing to do what He is telling me?

So begins My Hmmm Collection and the refining of my heart for heaven’s treasures.
