Hmmm… Will You See Them Again?

When you or your loved one passes from this earth, will you see them again? Most assume the answer is yes as evidenced by many a local obituary listing proclaiming the entrance of many into heaven. For those of us who believe in a literal heaven and hell, The One and Only True God and all He promised, we know the only way to heaven is through acknowledging who Jesus Christ is and what He did for us on the cross.  (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Yet, the question posed above is as much for us as for those who do not believe, maybe even more so because we know the truth of eternity. (John 14:6) Maybe the better question for us all is if your loved one is in heaven, do you want to see them again? If the answer is yes, what are you willing to do about it? For the one who does not yet believe, the answer to that question should be much different from the one who does believe. What is your answer?

  1. Sorry Sis I missed this Post too, I’m still having WordPress Blog problems.

You always get us pondering and that is good, God tells us not to be luke warm, the modern word is apathic, it’s always easy to go with the flow but Jesus tells us to come to Him and He will confirm His Truth.

Will we see our Loved ones in Heaven, the Scriptures tell us if they are Children under the age of understanding, meaning knowing right from wrong, Jesus also talked about Children being in Heaven and it will be the same as those who are retarded, God is Just He does not condem those who are unable to understand about Salvation, but you said it Sis, for the rest Jesus is the only way and God knows those who are His and that they will find the way and so He chooses us to be conformed into the image of Jesus and perfected in Love before we die as Jesus, Paul, John and others confirm in the Scriptures many times, this is what we are to aim for.

The Scriptures also tells us we won’t remember the things of earth, which is wonderful because to know someone we Loved went to Hell would cause us much suffering and there is none in Heaven.

Isaiah 65 17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

    Christian Love Anne.

  2. YES! Longing for the time I get to spend with my precious Father. But soooo thankful for the time He has allowed me to have here on this earth. Family is precious. Time is fleeting. Hug a loved one today. Thanks for the great post Karin! 🙂 Blessings to you!

  3. YES! I can’t wait to be with my loved ones again. I know positively the ones who are in heaven because they loved the Lord, served Him, and knew Jesus Christ.
