Hmmm… Two Ears, One Mouth

God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason. Hmmm… think about it.

  2. Yes He did Sis and we are to use them both, to remain silent when we see the need to share God’s Truth shows lack of Love as we see in the Scripture below but yes to broadcast our own fleshy agenda is foolish and to continue on in the flesh and not do what we are told is even more foolish.

    James1:22-25 Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

    1 Corinthians 2:12-14 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with Spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

      • Yes so True Sis but sadly many don’t ask for God’s wisdom and if they do they don’t believe they have received it, they still go to others first and believe their error instead of seeking Jesus our only Teacher for His Truth.

        When we are walking in Christ Jesus it is The Holy Spirit that speaks through us so we speak God’s Truth, the Gospel of our Salvation, when He directs us, of course this does not mean others will want to listen.

        1 Corinthians 2:4-5 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of Power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the Power of God.

        1 Thessalonians 1:5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance;

        Christian Love Anne.
