There is a whole lot of roaring around the globe over the killing of Cecil the lion. Some are calling for the hunter’s extradition to Zimbabwe, while others suggest his punishment through bodily harm.
Hmmm… I wonder the absence of the same level of protest over the removal and sometimes desecration of our own national symbols; reminders of this country’s faults and merits.
