The sun sinks lower along the hillside revealing the frost kissed brilliance of maple and ash. Our Creator is amazing!
Where is my coffee?
The sinking sun’s rays filter through the wispy white profile with outstretched arm against a pale blue sky. The lone image exudes compassion as it beckons those who see it to come near.
I love how nature reminds us we are not alone.
A soft baby blue sky reflects off the snow
While eaves drip and ice cycles clunk.
A light fresh breeze tickles the nose
Making birds happily sing.
Let life’s stress melt away.
Inspired by my love of feeding and watching wild birds, I decided to try my hand at a haiku, a short poem that uses sensory language to capture a feeling or image.
One crimson feather;
In search of better fodder
A cardinal flies on.
